Society of Surgical Ergonomics Membership Registration Steps
We are excited that you are interested in becoming a member of the Society of Surgical Ergonomics. Our society is dedicated to the advancement of surgical ergonomics by facilitating scientific dialogue, education, and innovation in the form of annual meetings, lectures, circulation of scientific literature, and research. Follow the steps below to get full access to our members-only resources.

Once you submit your application form and upload the necessary documentation, it will be reviewed by our membership committee. Once reviewed, the membership committee will send you an email with details and a link to complete the registration and membership process by paying your membership dues.

This email will include a link to a password-protected page on our website where you can pay your dues for the calendar year.

With dues paid, you will have full-access to site resources
Once you pay your dues you will receive a confirmation email and automatically have access to our members-only resources
Dues Structure (2023-2024):
$250 - Full Member (Physicians, dentists, nurse practitioners, physician's assistants, operating room technicians, physical therapists, occupational therapists, operating room directors, and quality and safety experts with the appropriate professional certification, and ergonomists, human factors experts, psychologists, and other scientists with a Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited college or university)
$125 - Affiliate Member (Any of the above with a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and AT LEAST five years of relevant experience in any of the listed disciplines)
$75 - Trainee Member (Any of the above with a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and LESS than five years of relevant experience in any of the listed disciplines)
Free - Student Member (Student in the process of completing any form of education leading to a degree or professional certification)
