Society of Surgical Ergonomics Membership Registration Steps

We are excited that you are interested in becoming a member of the Society of Surgical Ergonomics. Our society is dedicated to the advancement of surgical ergonomics by facilitating scientific dialogue, education, and innovation in the form of annual meetings, lectures, circulation of scientific literature, and research.  Follow the steps below to get full access to our members-only resources.

Create an account by clicking on the link on the far right of the task bar at the top of the home page.

Log in to your account on the SSE website

You should see your name and a link to your profile on the far right of the task bar at the top of the home page.

Once you pay your dues you will receive a confirmation email and automatically have access to our members-only resources. If you are a prospective member from a low or middle-income country (LMIC), send an email to our society email address to obtain a 50% discount code for your annual membership.

Dues Structure (2023-2024):
$100
- Full Member (Physicians, dentists, nurse practitioners, physician's assistants, operating room technicians, physical therapists, occupational therapists, operating room directors, and quality and safety experts with the appropriate professional certification, and ergonomists, human factors experts, psychologists, and other scientists with a Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited college or university)

$50 - Affiliate Member (Any of the above with a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and AT LEAST five years of relevant experience in any of the listed disciplines)

Free - Trainee Member (Any of the above with a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and LESS than five years of relevant experience in any of the listed disciplines)

Free - Student Member (Student in the process of completing any form of education leading to a degree or professional certification)

LMIC discounts available -- send email with proof of LMIC status to info@societyofsurgicalergonomics.org to obtain a discount code for 50% off your annual dues
